A session given by Lilia Koleva at the RAIC Architecture Festival

17.05.30
Last Friday, Lilia Koleva, Project Architect at NEUF architect(e)s, was at the Architecture Festival hosted by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) to present a conference entitled "Creating Smart PDFs to resolve complex site conditions."

She shared her experience gained as a member of a very large multidisciplinary team during complex projects. Her lecture focused on the innovative technological tools used to manipulate PDF files, the most common drawing format. These tools used by the teams members for review, construction administration and communication processes can greatly increase quality and productivity by responding more quickly to conditions found on the site.

Lilia Koleva joined the NEUF architect(e)s team in 2011 after completing a Bachelor's and a Master's degree of Architecture at McGill University. She has worked on a wide range of projects ranging from small urban interventions to the new CHUM located in downtown Montreal, designed in collaboration with CannonDesign. For the latter, she was a key member of the team in charge of public spaces.

The RAIC Architecture Festival was held in Ottawa from May 24 to 27, 2017, under the theme Architecture 150. It was an opportunity for Canadian architects to meet, share knowledge, network and celebrate past, present and future cultural heritage.

Congratulations to Lilia and all the other speakers!
