The Kharatian Center for the Performing Arts in Gyumri, Armenia was named a Finalist in two categories at this year's World Architecture Festival in Lisbon: Future Projects - Civic and Future Projects - Education, alongside the year's standout projects from 65 different countries.
Designed in collaboration with Storaket, a primary objective of the project is to strengthen Armenia’s cultural dialogue with the global arts scene and providing the city of Gyumri, its cultural capital, with a new innovative and multidisciplinary school that breathes new life into a building partially destroyed in the 1988 earthquake.
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners of the 2022 WAF.
