Built along the site boundaries, the main building faces Montcalm North Boulevard and significantly improves the streetscape by introducing a more human scale to the neighbourhood. The interior buildings frame a community garden, reducing paved surfaces that contribute to the heat-island effect. Drainage trenches weave through the garden and collect storm water run-off, reducing the load on the city’s sewage system and replenishing underground aquifers.

The residences include units from studios up to three bedrooms, each bright and spacious and benefiting from private balconies. The amenities and common areas are all located on the ground floor for ease of accessibility and direct access to outdoor spaces. Plays of texture and color in the materiality and flora vary the building’s atmosphere throughout the seasons.
