The 13-kilometre electrified bus line crosses four boroughs between Laval and the Olympic Park. It is connected to other networks–the Metro’s Green and Blue lines, the Mascouche commuter railway line, and the future Réseau express métropolitain (REM). Its development affects both sides of the boulevard with the installation of bus shelters on the central island, the provision of safe pedestrian access from the roadway, and the layout of bus-only lanes.

One of the main objectives of the project is to provide users with a sustainable, high-performance and connected systems that will improve the quality of life by promoting the use of collective transport and facilitating access to the city centre. In addition to upgrading municipal infrastructure, the project involves planting hundreds of trees, widening the sidewalk, replacing streetlamps and traffic lights, and integrating works of art.
